Fortnite reverses its controversial decision about one of the skins

The iconic Master Chief, star of the Halo franchise and a popular Fortnite skin, recently returned to the item shop after a two-year hiatus, much to the delight of fans. However, a controversy quickly arose surrounding the Matte Black style, originally offered exclusively to players using Xbox Series S|X consoles.
Initially advertised as perpetually available, Epic Games' sudden announcement of its discontinuation sparked considerable backlash. Some players even threatened legal action, citing potential violations of consumer protection laws.
Fortunately, Epic Games swiftly reversed course within 24 hours. The Matte Black style is now available to all Master Chief skin owners who play a single match on an Xbox Series S|X console. This reversal appears to be a wise move, especially considering the holiday season and the generally positive festive atmosphere.
