Freedom Wars Remastered: How To Use The Cell Garden

Quick Links

The Cell Garden is a crucial location within your Panopticon, encountered early in the main storyline of Freedom Wars Remastered. Beyond its narrative role, it serves as a safe and convenient area for resource farming.

While multiple Cell Gardens exist throughout the game, accessing them follows a consistent pattern regardless of your current level. Below, we detail how to locate any Cell Garden and explain its resource-gathering mechanics.

Where To Find Cell Garden Entrances In Freedom Wars Remastered

Your initial encounter with the Cell Garden involves a quest from Mattias, prompting an investigation into a ghost girl story. To begin, navigate to Level 2's main cell block (2-A000). In the left corner, you'll find a small room resembling an elevator. Interact with it to travel to 2-E165, the same area where you previously met Enzo.

From 2-E165, follow the right-hand wall to another small room containing a device leading to 2-G100. Repeat this process one last time; the far room in 2-G100 houses the device that finally grants access to the Cell Garden.

This path to the Cell Garden remains consistent across all levels. Unlocking the Quick-Travel Entitlement significantly reduces travel time. After completing the main quest related to the Cell Garden, you'll gain access anytime, but obtaining the Quick-Travel Entitlement is highly recommended.

Each device leading to the next room or the Cell Garden is clearly marked with a blue door icon.

How Does The Cell Garden Work In Freedom Wars Remastered

The Cell Garden's function differs during the main story mission compared to subsequent visits. Here's how it operates outside the main quest:

  • Time Limit: You have a one-minute time limit before being automatically ejected.
  • Dynamic Layout: The room's layout changes each time you enter.
  • Resource Collection: Eight resources, represented by small green orbs, are scattered throughout the room.

Consider purchasing Entitlements from the Window on Liberty to extend your time within the Cell Garden. Some layouts present minor puzzles, making extra time beneficial. The first upgrade, granting a two-minute time limit, becomes available at CODE level 3.
