How Many CODE Levels Are There in Freedom Wars Remastered?

Freedom Wars Remastered features a total of eight CODE levels. Progression is linear; you cannot decrease your CODE level. Each level grants access to new Entitlements and operations.

How to Increase Your CODE Level in Freedom Wars Remastered

To check CODE upgrade requirements, interact with your Accessory in your cell and select "Check CODE Upgrade Conditions." Typically, this involves reaching specific sentence year milestones and unlocking particular Entitlements. This menu is always accessible, so consult it before spending Entitlement Points. Donating high-value resources and weapons often provides sufficient points for multiple Entitlements.

While fulfilling all listed conditions is necessary for CODE rank-ups, your CODE level is intrinsically linked to the main storyline. Completing main story missions and operations, alongside meeting the conditions, is required to pass the CODE exam (a story element). Sometimes, main story progression substitutes for the CODE exam.

Operations are also categorized by CODE level, reflecting difficulty. Most operations are completed through story progression, although optional operations may become available to assist players unprepared for the challenges of their new CODE level.
