"Freedom Wars Remastered: Boost Your Arsenal with More Combat Items"
Quick Links
In Freedom Wars Remastered, customizing your loadout for operations is key to success. While larger components like weapons and Thrones are swapped out less frequently, Combat Items are essential consumables that offer a variety of tactical advantages. These items are finite resources, and while you may gain some by completing operations, it's often not enough to fully stock up for your next mission. At the game's start, you're limited to equipping just one Combat Item, but there are ways to increase this limit and ensure you're well-prepared.
How To Equip More Combat Items In Freedom Wars Remastered
To equip more Combat Items, you'll need to acquire specific Entitlements. From your cell, interact with the Window On Liberty and choose "Claim Entitlements." Navigate to the Equipment section and scroll to the right to find the One-Item Permit at the top. Each subsequent permit below this will allow you to equip additional Combat Items, up to a total of four.
You can unlock all four permits by reaching CODE level 3, as the story-based restrictions lift quickly. Note that you must purchase permits in sequence; later permits won't appear until you've bought the one before it. When equipping a Combat Item, such as a Frag Grenade, you'll have access to your entire stack at the start of an Operation.
Additionally, your Accessory can carry one Combat Item, which can be used at your discretion.
Where To Get More Combat Items In Freedom Wars Remastered
As you progress through the main story beyond the initial missions, you'll unlock The Warren, a HUB area. Here, you'll find Zakka, a store located on the right side of the upper story. Alongside weapons, Zakka offers the option to "Buy Items," which includes Munitions and Medical Supplies.
- Munitions include items that directly damage enemies during combat.
- Medical Supplies encompass items that heal, cure ailments, or refill ammunition.
Each Combat Item is priced individually, and bulk purchases can quickly deplete your Entitlement Points. Stocking up on Medkits might be one of the few reasons to donate old resources. While Operations may occasionally reward you with Combat Items, this method isn't reliable for farming due to the time required and the likelihood of using more items than you gain.
