Genshin, GTA, ZZZ Hybrid Greenlight for China Release
Ananta, formerly known as Project Mugen, is gearing up for a full release after generating significant buzz with its initial promotional materials. The game, a captivating blend of popular titles like Genshin Impact, Zenless Zone Zero, and even elements reminiscent of GTA, all presented within a vibrant anime aesthetic, has already secured approval for release in China.
Ananta's December 5th trailer showcased its open-world urban RPG setting. Players will assume the role of an A.C.D. agent, investigating mysteries within the sun-kissed coastal city of Nova. This ambitious project, a collaboration between NetEase Studios, Thunder Fire Studio, and Naked Rain, is attracting global interest for its unique fusion of familiar environments and supernatural elements.
Key features highlighted include engaging four-player team-based battles, a striking art style, and fluid, high-speed movement. The game is slated for a 2025 launch on PC, PlayStation 5, and mobile devices.
