Genshin Impact: Leaks Hint at Exciting New Arrivals

Genshin Impact's Upcoming 5-Star Character Lineup Revealed

Recent leaks have unveiled exciting details about future Genshin Impact character releases, specifically focusing on four new 5-star characters slated to arrive between updates 5.4 and 5.7. Version 5.3 has already introduced Mavuika and Citlali, alongside the 4-star Lan Yan in the upcoming Lantern Rite Festival.

A credible leaker, DK2, has revealed the release order of four upcoming 5-star characters, shown in silhouettes at the end of the Version 5.3 Special Program. These characters, according to the leak, will debut in versions 5.7, 5.4, 5.5, and 5.6 respectively.

Spotlight on Mizuki: Version 5.4's 5-Star Anemo Catalyst User

The leak strongly suggests that the second character revealed (from the left in the silhouette image), will be Mizuki, a 5-star Anemo catalyst user from Inazuma. This aligns with current beta testing for Version 5.4, which features Mizuki as the sole new 5-star addition. The absence of other 5-star characters in the beta lends further credence to this leak.

Mizuki's design, as seen in the beta, matches the silhouette. Her kit is reportedly built around maximizing Elemental Mastery, suggesting a support role. Beta gameplay hints at a strong synergy with the recently released Pyro Archon, Mavuika. Assuming a first-banner appearance in Version 5.4, players can anticipate Mizuki's arrival around mid-February. Her inclusion could signify a return to the Inazuma storyline, a common pattern in HoYoverse's update cycle where previously released regions are revisited four to five updates after a new nation's introduction.
