After a much-anticipated wait, fans of the iconic puzzle game can rejoice as World of Goo returns with its full sequel, World of Goo 2, now available on mobile platforms. Developed by 2DBOY and Tomorrow Corporation, the game has also launched on Steam, PlayStation 5, and iOS, bringing its unique charm to a wider audience.

A Ton of New Stuff

World of Goo 2 Mobile introduces a plethora of new features, including over 30 additional achievements that promise to keep players engaged. A notable addition is the options menu, marking a first for any game developed by 2DBOY or Tomorrow Corporation, enhancing user experience and customization.

The original World of Goo, released on Windows in October 2008, captivated players with its innovative gameplay of constructing bridges and towers using goo balls, all while battling the forces of physics and gravity. The sequel elevates this experience with the introduction of realistic flowing, splashing, viscous liquid mechanics. Players can now manipulate this liquid like a river, transform it into Goo Balls, extinguish fires, and tackle even more challenging puzzles.

World of Goo 2 Mobile also introduces new types of Goo, such as Jelly Goo, Liquid Launchers, Growing Goo, Shrinking Goo, and Explosive Goo, among others. These new species add layers of complexity and excitement, encouraging players to experiment and strategize to solve puzzles.
