GTA 5 Enhanced Joins Xbox Game Pass PC in 2 Weeks

Microsoft is set to bring Rockstar Games’ blockbuster title, Grand Theft Auto 5, to Xbox Game Pass and the enhanced version of GTA 5 to Game Pass for PC on April 15. This exciting news was shared through an Xbox Wire post, highlighting that this major addition to the Wave 1 April 2025 lineup is just around the corner. The PC Game Pass version will include the latest Enhanced update that Rockstar released in early March, making it a must-have for PC gamers.

The update, known as Oscar Guzman Flies Again, introduces new gameplay elements to all players, regardless of the platform. You can now take to the skies with control over the McKenzie Field Hanger in Grapeseed, engage in new arms trafficking missions, and pilot new aircraft, among other features.

This reintroduction to Game Pass comes after GTA 5 was previously removed from the service, and it marks the first time the title will be available on PC Game Pass. However, not all fans are thrilled, especially those who have encountered issues with the Enhanced update for PC. Released on March 4, this free update brought new vehicles, performance enhancements at Hao’s Special Works, animal encounters, and visual improvements. Yet, it also led to GTA 5 becoming Rockstar’s worst-reviewed title on Steam due to account migration problems preventing players from transferring their GTA Online profiles to the new version.

New players diving into Los Santos for the first time won't face these issues, but returning GTA 5 Online players hoping to upgrade their accounts to the Enhanced version may still encounter ongoing migration problems.
