The Pointer Sisters' classic track Hot Together has skyrocketed in popularity after featuring in yesterday's Grand Theft Auto VI trailer debut, seeing a phenomenal surge in Spotify streams.

Spotify data shows the 1986 hit experienced an extraordinary 182,000% streaming boost within just two hours of the trailer premiere. While current figures still show around 250,000 streams, these numbers are expected to climb substantially when updated.

"Few franchises influence pop culture like Grand Theft Auto," commented Spotify's Global Head of Editorial Sulinna Ong. "Music has always been integral to GTA's identity, making this renewed appreciation for a classic song particularly special."
