GTA V PC Release Set for March 4

by Zoey Apr 23,2025

After over two years of anticipation, PC players of *Grand Theft Auto V* are finally set to receive a major update on March 4th, bringing the game up to speed with its console counterparts released in 2022. This exciting update will be available to all current players at no additional cost, with seamless transfer of progress from both GTA Online and the Story mode.

The bulk of the upgrade focuses on *GTA Online*, introducing a wealth of content that was previously exclusive to console players. A significant addition is the GTA+ subscription service, now accessible on PC, which offers numerous benefits, including the ability to collect profits from in-game businesses at an accelerated rate. Additionally, Rockstar Games has enhanced the game's anti-cheat measures to ensure a fairer playing environment.

Alongside the new features, the update will also introduce substantial graphical improvements. However, this comes with a caveat: the system requirements for the game will increase. Players with hardware that cannot support the updated version will still be able to play the older version, which Rockstar Games will continue to support. It's important to note, however, that there will be no cross-version support, meaning players on different versions won't be able to play together.
