At Star Wars Celebration, it was officially announced that Hayden Christensen will reprise his role as Anakin Skywalker in the second season of *Ahsoka*.

While details about Anakin's role in Season 2 remain sparse, his confirmed return will be thrilling news for fans. It signals that Ahsoka's journey with her former master is far from over.

Christensen joined the *Ahsoka* panel at Star Wars Celebration and reflected on returning to the iconic character.

"It was a dream to get to do it," Christensen said. "Their approach was brilliant, using the World Between Worlds to explore the character. I found it incredibly exciting."

Series creator Dave Filoni joked that he felt compelled to work with Christensen and Anakin again, quipping that he had to "invent entire dimensions to make it happen."

Christensen also mentioned extensive conversations with the creative team about Anakin's untold Clone Wars experiences.

"These stories were well told in animation, and I was thrilled to bring them to live-action," Christensen said. "While I love the classic Jedi robes from the prequels, it was exciting to give Anakin a fresh visual style."

Later in the discussion, Filoni explained how his shared history of working with George Lucas alongside Christensen forged a strong collaborative bond when figuring out Anakin's return. This allowed them to complement each other's insights and craft a rich, well-rounded portrayal.

"I always have George's voice in the back of my head saying, 'faster, more intense!'" Christensen added.
