Honor of Kings Unveils Snow Carnival 2024 Festive Events

Honor of Kings, Tencent's renowned MOBA, is gearing up to launch an exciting array of in-game events and gameplay enhancements for the festive season of 2024. Dubbed the Snow Carnival 2024, this event promises to be a spectacular celebration for players during the holiday period, filled with new challenges, zero-cost purchase events, and opportunities to exchange gifts with friends.

Kicking off the festivities, from November 28th to January 8th, the game introduces significant gameplay changes. On November 28th, players will encounter the new Snow Overlord and Snow Tyrant, which, when defeated, will bestow additional slow or freeze effects. Starting December 12th, heroes such as Lady Zhen, Princess Frost, Zhuangzi, Dolia, DaQiao, and Shi will have the ability to stack their water-based skills, causing an ice effect on their opponents, adding a fresh layer of strategy to the gameplay.

The Snow Carnival also introduces new in-game hazards. From November 28th to December 11th, the Glacial Twists will appear in the jungle, capable of reducing your speed and tossing you around. From December 12th to the 23rd, the summoning of the Shadow Vanguard will create an ice path effect. And from December 24th to January 8th, defeating the river sprite will reward you with a new ice sled, perfect for support or quick retreats.

The Zero Cost Purchase Event, running from December 6th to January 8th, allows players to claim one free item without spending any tokens, chosen from those available during the event. Additionally, from December 24th to January 1st, the Gift Exchange feature will be active, enabling players to send and receive items with their friends. The excitement continues with the Gift Opening from January 1st to the 4th, where participants have the chance to receive a skin and possibly even a legendary item.

As Honor of Kings celebrates its first global holiday event, the Snow Carnival 2024 is just the beginning of what promises to be an ongoing tradition of seasonal festivities.
