Infinity Nikki: A Comprehensive Guide to Ability Outfits

Infinity Nikki, the isekai, open-world gacha RPG, begins with Nikki's isekai journey initiated by a magical dress. This dress grants access to Ability Outfits, enabling Nikki to explore Miraland, purify Dark Essence and Esselings, and interact with the game world.

Ability Outfits are unlocked via Sketches, requiring crafted or gacha-obtained clothing. Each ability features a basic Ability Outfit unlockable on the Heart of Infinity skill tree. Premium Ability Outfits, however, are exclusively obtainable through Resonance Banners, Infinity Nikki's gacha system. Currently, 17 Ability Outfits exist.

Unlocking Ability Outfits

The following details each Ability Outfit, its unlock method, and associated banner (if applicable):

Floating Outfit

• Function: Briefly float after a jump. Activated by a long tap jump, followed by another tap.
• Unlock:
  • Bubbly Voyage: Obtained during the "Prologue: Embark on an Unknown Journey" mission using 1 Whimstar (automatically acquired). Can be crafted using 8 Lampchili and 26 Thread of Purity. Evolves into Bubbly Voyage: Spring by crafting with duplicate Bubbly Voyage pieces, 30,000 Bling, 100 Thread of Purity, and 7 Calm Thoughts.
  • Blooming Dreams: Requires obtaining all 10 clothing pieces from the limited-time "Blooming Fantasy" Resonance Banner (December 5th-18th, 2024). Cannot be unlocked outside this banner. Evolves into Blooming Dreams: Phoenix by obtaining duplicates of all 10 Blooming Dreams pieces. Blooming Dreams: Tides and Glow can be unlocked using Heartshine from the Deep Echoes banner.

Purification Outfit

• Function: Purifies Dark Essence and Esselings. Activated by clicking or tapping to attack.
• Unlock:
  • Wind of Purity: Obtained during "Prologue: Embark On an Unknown Journey" using 2 Whimstars. Crafted using 2 Buttoncone, 2 Daisy, 26 Thread of Purity, and 3 Woolfruit. Evolves into Wind of Purity: Dawn by crafting with duplicate Wind of Purity pieces, 30,000 Bling, 100 Thread of Purity, and 7 Calm Thoughts.
  • Crystal Poems: Requires all 10 clothing pieces from the permanent "Distant Sea" banner. Crystal Poems: Snow and Spring can be unlocked using Heartshine from the Deep Echoes banner. Evolves into Crystal Poems: Blazing by obtaining duplicates of all 10 Crystal Poems pieces.

Animal Grooming Outfit

• Function: Groom animals for materials. Activated by approaching a creature and pressing the Ability button after swapping to this outfit.
• Unlock:
  • Bye-Bye Dust: Obtained during Chapter 1's Land of Wishes quest using 2 Whimstars. Crafted using 4 Daisy and 24 Thread of Purity. Evolves into Bye-Bye Dust: Kitty by crafting with duplicate Bye-Bye Dust pieces, 30,000 Bling, 100 Thread of Purity, and 7 Calm Thoughts.
  • Breezy Tea Time: Requires all 10 clothing pieces from the permanent "Distant Sea" banner. Evolves into Breezy Tea Time: Siesta by obtaining duplicates of all 8 Breezy Tea Time pieces.

Fishing Outfit

• Function: Fish in bodies of water. Activated by tapping the ability button near bubbling water spots. Requires timing to reel in fish.
• Unlock:
  • Rippling Serenity: Obtained during Chapter 1’s "Unexplained Coma Incidents" quest using 2 Whimstars. Crafted using 5 Daisy, 1 Floof Yarn, 1 Foodie Bee, and 72 Thread of Purity. Evolves into Rippling Serenity: Dream by crafting with duplicate Rippling Serenity pieces, 30,000 Bling, 100 Thread of Purity, and 7 Calm Thoughts.
  • Shark Mirage: Requires all 10 clothing pieces from the permanent "Distant Sea" banner. Evolves into Shark Mirage: Summer by obtaining duplicates of all 9 Shark Mirage pieces.

Bug Catching Outfit

• Function: Catch bugs and insects. Activated by approaching insects and tapping the ability button.
• Unlock:
  • Afternoon Shine: Obtained during Chapter 1’s "Accident at the Clothing Store" quest using 2 Whimstars. Gather 2 Daisy, 1 Floof Yarn, 1 Starlit Plum, and 30 Thread of Purity. Evolves into Afternoon Shine: Rain by crafting with duplicate Afternoon Shine pieces, 30,000 Bling, 100 Thread of Purity, and 7 Calm Thoughts.
  • Forest's Fluttering: Requires all 10 clothing pieces from the permanent "Distant Sea" banner. Evolves into Forest’s Fluttering: Starry by obtaining duplicates of all 9 Forest’s Fluttering pieces.

Electrician Outfit

• Function: Identify and fix electrical problems. Activated by standing near broken devices and completing a grid puzzle.
• Unlock:
  • Fully Charged: Obtained during Chapter 1’s "Power Outage Rescue" quest using 2 Whimstars. Gather 4 Daisy, 1 Floof Yarn, 1 Foodie Bee, 148 Thread of Purity, and 9000 Bling. Evolves into Fully Charged: Refreshing by crafting with duplicate Fully Charged pieces, 30,000 Bling, 100 Thread of Purity, and 7 Calm Thoughts.
  • Froggy Fashion: Requires all 10 clothing pieces from the limited-time "Croaker’s Whisper" Resonance Banner (December 18th-29th, 2024). Cannot be unlocked outside this banner. Evolves into Froggy Fashion: Night by obtaining duplicates of all 10 Froggy Fashion pieces.

Floral Gliding Outfit

• Function: Glide from high places. Activated by jumping from high points with wind currents and tapping the ability button.
• Unlock:
  • Floral Memory: Obtained during Chapter 3’s "Wish Collector’s Crisis" quest using 1 Whimstar and 10,000 Bling. Gather 1 Sunpetal Sheet, 2 Pearl Wings, 3 Foodie Bee, 3 Florascent Wool, 360 Thread of Purity, and 30,000 Bling. Evolves into Floral Memory: Gleam by crafting with duplicate Floral Memory pieces, 30,000 Bling, 100 Thread of Purity, and 7 Calm Thoughts.

Violinist Outfit

• Function: Play music. Activated by tapping the ability button to enter performance mode and following on-screen notes.
• Unlock:
  • Symphony of Strings: Obtained during Chapter 4’s "Attention! Faewish Sprite Spotted" quest using 2 Wishstars. Gather 2.0kg Kerchief Fish, 4 Pearly Shell, 330 Thread of Purity, and 27,500 Bling. Evolves into Symphony of Strings: Woods by crafting with duplicate Symphony of Strings pieces, 30,000 Bling, 100 Thread of Purity, and 7 Calm Thoughts.

Shrinking Outfit

• Function: Shrink and ride Momo. Activated by tapping the ability button to shrink and pilot Momo.
• Unlock:
  • Starlet Burst: Obtained during Chapter 6’s "Encounter in the Woods" quest using 2 Whimstars. Gather 1 Elastic Gel, 4 Lampbloom, 4 Starlit Plum, 600 Thread of Purity, and 48,000 Bling. Evolves into Starlet Burst: Glow by crafting with duplicate Starlet Burst pieces, 30,000 Bling, 100 Thread of Purity, and 7 Calm Thoughts.

Whimsicality Outfit

• Function: Paint graffiti. Activated by tapping the ability button to perform the idle animation.
• Unlock:
  • Flowing Colors: Requires all 10 clothing pieces from the limited-time "Butterfly Dream" Resonance Banner (December 5th-18th, 2024). Cannot be unlocked outside this banner. Evolves into Flowing Colors: Dreamy by obtaining duplicates of all 9 Flowing Colors pieces.
  • Dreamy Glimmer: Requires all 10 clothing pieces from the limited-time "Bubbling Affections" Resonance Banner (December 18th-29th, 2024). Cannot be unlocked outside this banner. Evolves into Dreamy Glimmer: Melody by obtaining duplicates of all 9 Dreamy Glimmer pieces.

Stylish Outfits

Stylish Outfits, obtained from Kilo the Cadenceborn in exchange for Dews of Inspiration, are purely aesthetic and do not grant abilities. They can be used for overworld traversal.
