Infinity Nikki, the latest installment in the popular Nikki series, has shattered expectations, generating nearly $16 million in mobile revenue during its inaugural month. This surpasses previous Nikki titles by a staggering 40 times, highlighting the game's immense popularity. The game's success is largely attributed to its strong performance in China, where it garnered over 5 million downloads.

Launched in December 2024 by Infold Games (Papergames in China), Infinity Nikki captivated players with its enchanting Miraland setting and engaging gameplay. Players guide Nikki and her cat, Momo, through diverse nations, solving puzzles and overcoming challenges using magically-powered outfits imbued with Whimstar energy. The game's pre-registration numbers reached an impressive 30 million, foreshadowing its strong launch.

AppMagic data (via Pocket Gamer) reveals a remarkable trajectory. The game earned $3.51 million in its first week, followed by $4.26 million and $3.84 million in the subsequent weeks. While weekly revenue decreased to $1.66 million by the fifth week, the cumulative total still reached approximately $16 million. This eclipses Love Nikki's first-month revenue of $383,000 and significantly outperforms Shining Nikki's $6.2 million international debut in 2021. These figures, however, only reflect mobile platform earnings, excluding revenue from the PlayStation 5 and PC versions.

China's Crucial Role in Infinity Nikki's Triumph

China played a pivotal role in Infinity Nikki's success, contributing over 42% of total downloads. This substantial player base significantly bolstered the game's financial performance.

Daily revenue initially peaked at over $1.1 million on December 6th, but subsequently experienced fluctuations. While daily earnings decreased, reaching a low of $141,000 on December 26th, the release of Version 1.1 on December 30th triggered a significant surge, nearly tripling revenue to $665,000.
