A recent leak suggests a fun twist for Zenless Zone Zero's Version 1.5 update: a temporary event featuring a multiplayer platformer game mode. This exciting addition, reminiscent of Fall Guys, is reportedly part of a "Grand Marcel" event, expected to launch alongside the update's other content, including new characters Astra Yao and Evelyn.

Version 1.4, released in December, introduced two new playable characters and an S-Rank Bangboo, along with two permanent battle-focused modes. However, Zenless Zone Zero often incorporates limited-time events with unique gameplay mechanics, like the current "Bangboo vs Ethereal" tower defense event. This new leak indicates a similar approach for Version 1.5.

Leaker Palito shared screenshots showcasing stages strikingly similar to Fall Guys. While the details remain unclear, this platformer mode is likely exclusive to the Grand Marcel event, and its duration might be limited. The leak doesn't specify whether players will control their usual characters or Bangboo within these stages. Regardless, players can anticipate rewarding prizes, potentially including Polychromes and additional free pulls, as rumored for Version 1.5.

This isn't HoYoverse's first foray into platformer events. Honkai Impact 3rd's 6.1 update in 2022 included a "Midnight Chronicle" event with similar Fall Guys-style gameplay, featuring chibi versions of existing characters. Zenless Zone Zero might follow a similar path, though the popularity of Bangboo makes their inclusion a strong possibility. The current Hollow Zero mode already allows Bangboo gameplay, but many fans have expressed a desire for expanded opportunities to play as them.

Version 1.5 is slated for January 22nd, bringing Astra Yao and Evelyn to the playable roster. Previous leaks also hinted at a character skin for the popular Nicole and a new Agent Story for Ellen.
