inZoi PS5 Release Set for 2024, Xbox Version Under Consideration

by Patrick Mar 27,2026

The visually impressive life simulation game inZoi is confirmed for a PS5 launch next year, targeting a 2026 release window, while an Xbox version appears less certain.

Publisher Krafton has not provided a more specific timeframe beyond the 2026 target, stopping short of announcing even a rough release quarter or a firm date. In a social media statement, the company said the development team "is working diligently to deliver the optimal experience on PS5."

The statement also clarified that an Xbox release "remains under consideration but is not yet confirmed," offering little comfort to Xbox enthusiasts.

inZoi is a god-game life simulator where players wield divine control to alter their world and explore endless narratives through diverse lives. Its inaugural free DLC, titled Island Getaway, launches on August 20, a date that also marks the game's debut on the Mac platform.

The developers note that the new Southeast Asia-inspired map, Cahaya, was "sculpted based on player feedback gathered since the game's Early Access launch earlier this year." This dual-island environment introduces new activities including swimming, snorkeling, and farming.

IGN's review of inZoi scored the game a 6 out of 10. Our assessment concluded: "inZoi is an ambitiously stylish life simulator that currently lacks the depth to match its visual promise at this Early Access stage."

Last month, Krafton responded to discussions around the game's declining concurrent player numbers on Steam, asserting that for a primarily single-player title, sales figures are a more meaningful metric of success.
