"Ironheart Trailer: Riri Williams Smashes Truck, Meets Untrustworthy Hood"
Marvel has unveiled the debut trailer for Ironheart, the much-anticipated MCU series set to premiere on Disney+. The show stars Dominique Thorne as Riri Williams, reprising her role from Black Panther: Wakanda Forever in 2022, and introduces Anthony Ramos as Parker Robbins, also known as The Hood. The trailer gives fans a glimpse into Riri's journey as she steps into the spotlight as a superhero, evolving from her supporting role in the MCU.
In the series, Parker Robbins starts off as a mentor figure to Riri, aiming to help her harness her potential. However, the trailer hints at a more complex character arc for The Hood. Ironheart, executive produced by Ryan Coogler, will kick off with a three-episode premiere on June 24 at 6pm PT/9pm ET, exclusively on Disney+.
Riri reflects on her adventures in Wakanda Forever as an "internship abroad." After being expelled from MIT, The Hood challenges her with the question, "Anyone who has accomplished anything has to do questionable things. Are you in or out?" The trailer showcases thrilling action sequences, including Riri suiting up as Ironheart, taking flight, and demonstrating her strength by grounding herself to punch a truck, sending it flying dramatically over her head.

Marvel's lineup extends beyond Ironheart. Another spin-off from the Black Panther franchise, Eyes of Wakanda, is a four-episode animated series focusing on the elite Hatut Zaraze warriors of Wakanda. This series is scheduled to launch on August 6.
Additionally, Marvel is set to release two more series: the animated Marvel Zombies and the live-action Wonder Man. Marvel Zombies, premiering on October 3, will explore the zombie reality first introduced in the inaugural season of What If…?. The series will feature numerous MCU actors reprising their roles, including Elizabeth Olsen as Scarlet Witch, Simu Liu as Shang-Chi, David Harbour as Red Guardian, Florence Pugh as Yelena Belova, Awkwafina as Katy Chen, Hailee Steinfeld as Kate Bishop, and Iman Vellani as Kamala Khan.
Wonder Man, slated for a December 2025 debut, will star Yahya Abdul-Mateen II as Simon Williams, a superpowered actor and recurring member of the Avengers in the comics. Ben Kingsley returns as Trevor Slattery, the actor who portrayed the fake Mandarin in Iron Man 3, while Demetrius Grosse will play the Grim Reaper, Simon's villainous brother.
