Kaiju No. 8 The Game brings Naoya Matsumoto's acclaimed manga to life, following the Japanese Defence Force as they combat colossal monsters. The story centers on an ordinary member who awakens extraordinary abilities, powers that could either rescue the world or lead to its ruin.

The new trailer introduces original characters joining the mobile adaptation's Special Unit CLOZER, including Chester Lochburn, Suited, and unit leader Sagan Shinomiya. A completely fresh storyline is being developed for the game, offering more than just a rehash of the original plot.

Interest in the game is clearly high, with more than 850,000 players already pre-registered to claim in-game rewards.
