KEMCO's Alphadia III RPG Now Available Globally on Android
Today marks the global launch of Alphadia III on Android, heralding the third installment in the beloved Alphadia series. Brought to you by publisher KEMCO and developer EXE CREATE, the game first debuted in Japan back in October of last year.
What’s the Story in Alphadia III?
Set in the year 970 of the Alphadian calendar, Alphadia III plunges you into the climactic phase of the Energi War, a colossal battle over the enigmatic life force known as energi. The world is split among three dominant factions locked in a struggle for supremacy: the Schwarzschild Empire to the north, the Nordsheim Kingdom to the west, and the Luminea Alliance to the east.
As the world teeters on the brink of collapse, a clone soldier named Alfonso takes center stage. The narrative ignites when a girl named Tarte arrives with the somber news of another clone's demise, sparking a pivotal change in Alfonso's resolve.
What’s the Gameplay Like?
Alphadia III embraces the classic turn-based combat system viewed from the side, rendered in nostalgic pixel art. Players can leverage a variety of systems, such as SP Skills, which accumulate during battles and can dramatically shift the tide of combat when deployed strategically.
Additionally, the game features Arrays, tactical battle formations that players unlock as they progress, offering diverse approaches to combat based on the challenges they face. A novel feature, the Energi Crock, allows players to convert surplus items into Energi Elements over time, which can be exchanged for equipment or other valuable items at in-game shops.
Throughout your journey, you'll encounter various factions such as the peacekeeping alliance Deval and elite military units like Rosenkreutz from Nordsheim. You'll also interact with different energi clone models, including Nordsheim's Berger Series and Schwarzschild's Delta Series.
Beyond the main storyline, Alphadia III offers a wealth of side content and is optimized for controller use. You can download the game from the Google Play Store for $7.99. For those looking for a different experience, a freemium version with ads is also available on Android.
