New Leak Hints at Expansive Region in Genshin Impact 6.0 Update

Genshin Impact Version 6.0: Unveiling Nasha Town and Nod-Krai

Recent leaks from Genshin Impact's beta servers strongly suggest the locations of Nasha Town and Nod-Krai, both slated for Version 6.0. While development on Natlan continues, beta builds are progressively incorporating placeholders for Snezhnaya, the anticipated Cryo nation ruled by the Tsaritsa. Snezhnaya's vastness, surpassing even Sumeru and Liyue, necessitates a regional division, spanning westward from Natlan and encircling Fontaine to the north. This phased rollout points to a multi-update expansion plan.

Initial leaks suggested Nod-Krai as a separate region in Version 6.0. However, recent datamining definitively places it within Snezhnaya. As an autonomous province, Nod-Krai acts as a crucial trade hub, connecting Snezhnaya to the rest of Teyvat. Liben's information confirms Nod-Krai's southern location, suggesting access via Fontaine or Natlan.

Data from Leakflow, Extra, and footage by The_Strifemaster in the Version 5.4 beta reveal a placeholder landmass beneath Fontaine's western waterfalls. This landmass appears to connect to Mont Esus, a rumored Fontaine expansion area. While this doesn't confirm Mont Esus's release timing, the evidence strongly points toward Nasha Town and Nod-Krai's integration in Version 6.0.

Exploring Nod-Krai: A Lawless Province

Nod-Krai is both a region and a city situated on Snezhnaya's southern border. Despite some semblance of order maintained by the Voynich Guild, it's known for its lawless nature. A significant Fatui stronghold, led by the popular Harbinger Dottore, operates within Nod-Krai. Nasha Town is a key settlement within this province, and its inhabitants are rumored to possess power predating Teyvat's seven Elements.

Dividing Snezhnaya might be controversial, but its sheer size makes a single-year release impractical from both narrative and development perspectives. With Natlan's Archon Quest concluding in Version 5.3, subsequent updates will likely build anticipation for Snezhnaya. While Capitano's fate remains unclear, Natlan will introduce Skirk, a playable character linked to Khaenri'ah's Five Sinners. Barring unforeseen delays, Version 6.0 is projected for September 10, 2025.
