Marvel Rivals to cross over with multiple Marvel mobile releases in January

NetEase's Marvel Rivals is crossing over with popular Marvel mobile games! Get ready for a major collaboration launching January 3rd.

Marvel Rivals, the acclaimed hero shooter for consoles and PC, will team up with Marvel Puzzle Quest, Future Fight, and Snap in a significant crossover event starting January 3rd. While details remain scarce, the announcement promises a substantial collaboration.

This isn't NetEase's first foray into Marvel's mobile landscape. Earlier this month, Marvel Snap featured a season highlighting lesser-known characters from Rivals, including Galacta and Peni Parker, introducing them to a wider mobile audience.

A New Kind of Competition

While calling Marvel Rivals an "Overwatch killer" might be an overstatement, its popularity is undeniable. This crossover cleverly leverages that success to boost the mobile titles, a refreshing twist on the usual console/PC-centric collaborations.

The crossover is especially fitting given that Luna Snow, a key character in Marvel Rivals, originally debuted in Marvel Future Fight before appearing in the comics. Given NetEase's recent holiday success, this collaboration is expected to be substantial.
