Marvel Rivals Welcomes Invisible Woman and Season 1: Eternal Darkness Falls

Get ready for a major update to Marvel Rivals! On January 10th, at 1 AM PST, Season 1: Eternal Darkness Falls launches, bringing with it the Fantastic Four's Invisible Woman, new maps, a fresh game mode, and a new battle pass.

A recent gameplay video showcases Invisible Woman's abilities. She's a Strategist, combining offensive and supportive capabilities. Her primary attack damages foes while healing allies, and she possesses a knockback to control distance. Invisibility and a double jump enhance her mobility, while a deployable shield protects teammates. Her ultimate creates a zone of invisibility, disrupting ranged attacks.

The update also introduces Mister Fantastic, though Human Torch and The Thing will arrive later in a mid-season update (approximately six to seven weeks after launch). NetEase Games has confirmed that seasons will last roughly three months, each receiving a substantial mid-season content drop.

Another trailer highlighted Mister Fantastic's gameplay, revealing a blend of Duelist and Vanguard styles—high health combined with stretching attacks.

While the Fantastic Four's addition is highly anticipated, some fans expressed disappointment over Blade's absence. Leaked game files suggest his inclusion was considered, and the reveal of Dracula as Season 1's primary antagonist fueled speculation. However, Blade's appearance will have to wait. Despite this, excitement remains high for the upcoming season's content.
