Marvel Rivals Reveals New Stats and Most Picked Heroes

Marvel Rivals: Post-Launch Hero Statistics Reveal Top Performers and Underdogs

NetEase has released comprehensive player statistics for Marvel Rivals, highlighting the most and least popular heroes during the game's initial month. This data covers pick rates and win rates across Quickplay and Competitive modes on both PC and console platforms. The information is particularly relevant as Season 1, featuring the Fantastic Four, is about to begin.

Jeff the Land Shark emerges as the undisputed Quickplay champion, boasting the highest pick rate across both PC and console. However, when it comes to win rate, Mantis reigns supreme. This Strategist hero achieves impressive win rates exceeding 50% in both Quickplay (56%) and Competitive (55%), outperforming even popular characters like Loki, Hela, and Adam Warlock.

Here's a breakdown of the most-picked heroes:

  • Quickplay (PC & Console): Jeff the Land Shark
  • Competitive (Console): Cloak & Dagger
  • Competitive (PC): Luna Snow

Conversely, Storm, a Duelist character, struggles with extremely low pick rates (1.66% in Quickplay and a mere 0.69% in Competitive). This low popularity is attributed to player feedback citing underwhelming damage and a frustrating gameplay experience. However, hope remains for Storm, as NetEase has announced significant buffs for her in the upcoming Season 1 balance update.

The introduction of the Fantastic Four in Season 1, launching January 10th, is expected to significantly alter these statistics, potentially reshaping the meta and challenging the current dominance of certain heroes.
