Marvel Rivals Season 1: Early Access Guide
It’s hard to remember the last game that had the amount of buzz surrounding it that NetEase’s newest hero shooter does. Marvel Rivals is about to launch its first big update, Season 1, and gamers are eager to get early access to it.
How To Play Marvel Rivals Season 1 Early
The excitement for Marvel Rivals' Season 1 update is palpable, with a flood of information being shared across the game's official social media channels. Videos detailing the new content are being released regularly, yet it's the streamers who've gotten their hands on the update early that have left many players feeling left out. Fortunately, there's a way for a select few to ensure they're not left behind in future updates.
Those playing Marvel Rivals Season 1 early are part of the game's Creator Community, a group of gamers who applied and were approved for early access to updates and other exclusive content. While it might seem like an exclusive club reserved for top streamers, anyone can apply. Here's how you can get in:
- Visit the Creator Hub: Navigate to the Creator Hub section on Marvel Rivals' official website.
- Fill Out the Form: Click on the form at the bottom of the screen and complete it with the required information.
- Wait for Approval: Await a response from NetEase Games.
It's worth noting that while the application doesn't require specifics like subscriber counts or channel stats, reviewers will likely notice if an account was created solely for early access. Newcomers might want to wait a bit before applying to build a genuine presence.

What’s New in Marvel Rivals Season 1?
Although the window for joining the Creator Community for Season 1 might be closed, the wait won't be long for those not in the community. The update is scheduled to launch on Friday, January 10th. This update brings two new characters, Mister Fantastic and Invisible Woman, to the game's already expansive roster, along with new maps and modes. A massive Battle Pass will also be available, featuring 10 unlockable skins, including the Blood Berserker Wolverine Costume and the Bounty Hunter Rocket Raccoon Costume.
Existing characters will see various buffs and nerfs. For a detailed look at these changes, check out The Escapist's full breakdown here.
