Marvel Snap Launches Golden Gauntlet Next Month

As players dive into the Fantastic Four update, Marvel Snap is introducing the Golden Gauntlet World Championship Series - a thrilling new competitive platform launching August 9th. Developed by Second Dinner, this initiative offers players across all ranks, collection levels, and playstyles the opportunity to compete, connect, and showcase their strategic mastery.

The Golden Gauntlet Series features completely free online tournaments with live-streamed matches. The competition begins with a 1,024-player Open Qualifier targeting APAC and Western US regions.

Whether you're bringing unconventional decks or refined ladder experience, participants will battle through six Swiss rounds, with the top 16 advancing to elimination brackets. Players achieving 5-1 records or better will also qualify for November's Golden Gauntlet Worlds championship.

Registration opens July 31st on a first-come, first-served basis. Subsequent qualifiers for Americas and EU/Eastern US regions follow in September and October, culminating in the November 8th finals. Over 300 elite competitors will face off in a nine-round Swiss format concluding with top-16 playoffs to determine Marvel Snap's ultimate champion.
