Metal Slug: Awakening Opens Pre-Registration on Android Now!

Get ready for a blast from the past! HaoPlay Limited's upcoming title, Metal Slug: Awakening, is bringing the classic arcade experience to mobile. Launching globally on July 18th, 2024, pre-registration is now open.

A Modern Reboot of a Classic

Metal Slug: Awakening breathes new life into the iconic 90s franchise. Initially revealed in 2020 by TiMi Studios as Metal Slug Code: J, the game has undergone development and name changes before its Southeast Asia release in late 2023. Now, it's finally ready for a worldwide launch.

For the uninitiated, Metal Slug is a renowned Japanese run-and-gun series that debuted in 1996, created by Nazca Corporation and later expanding into a multimedia franchise. While previous mobile entries like Metal Slug Defense (2014), Metal Slug Attack (2016), and Metal Slug Commander (2020) exist, Awakening promises enhanced features and gameplay.

Updated Gameplay and Classic Charm

Awakening stays true to the original series' core mechanics, while boasting updated graphics and new gameplay elements. Reunite with your favorite Metal Slug characters and embark on new adventures. The game features a World Adventure mode, 3-player cooperative Team-up battles, and challenging Roguelike modes.
