Xbox Game Pass April 2025 Wave 1 Lineup Revealed

Microsoft has announced the Xbox Game Pass titles arriving in early April 2025, showcasing a robust selection of first- and third-party games, including South of Midnight, Borderlands 3 Ultimate Edition, Diablo 3: Reaper of Souls – Ultimate Evil Edition, and more.

This impressive lineup was highlighted in a recent Xbox Wire post. New titles begin rolling out on April 3, starting with Gearbox Software’s Borderlands 3 Ultimate Edition (Cloud, Console, and PC) across all tiers, alongside All You Need Is Help (Console), Still Wakes the Deep (Xbox Series X | S), and Wargroove 2 (Console) for Game Pass Standard. This initial wave offers plenty to keep even avid Xbox players engaged, with South of Midnight (Cloud, PC, and Xbox Series X | S) and Diablo 3: Reaper of Souls – Ultimate Evil Edition (Console and PC) joining for all subscribers on April 8.

South of Midnight, a folklore adventure set in the Deep South by Compulsion Games, is shaping up to be one of Xbox’s standout releases this year, drawing players to explore its rich narrative on Game Pass. Microsoft describes it as: “Navigate the myths and face enigmatic creatures of the Deep South in this modern folktale, mastering an ancient power to overcome challenges and confront the pain plaguing your hometown.”

On April 9, Commandos: Origins (Cloud, PC, and Xbox Series X | S) arrives for Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass, followed by Blue Prince (Cloud, PC, and Xbox Series X | S) on April 10 for the same tiers. Hunt: Showdown 1896 (PC) wraps up the Wave 1 releases on April 15 for Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass subscribers.

Xbox Game Pass perks are also being updated for early April 2025, featuring the Beyond the Void Bundle for The First Descendant, the Sweet Starter Pack for Candy Crush Solitaire on mobile, and a Seventh Serving Emote for Sea of Thieves fans.
