Monopoly Go's Inaugural Dough-fest Adds Pizza, Doughnuts

  • Monopoly Go is launching its inaugural Dough-fest, a real-world event for fans
  • The event will feature immersive Monopoly Go experiences alongside popular restaurant brands
  • This gathering also commemorates the game's first-ever 2x trading limit increase

What do pizza, ice cream, and Monopoly have in common? Nothing at all—until now. Scopely's Monopoly Go is hosting a new real-life event in London later this month. The upcoming Dough Fest celebrates Monopoly Go's first 2x trading limit increase with exclusive edible treats for attendees.

Collaborations between games and dining spots are hardly unusual. From Japan's long history of themed restaurants to Zenless Zone Zero's recent partnership with London's Butchies during Operation Yum, crossovers are everywhere.

Taking place from September 27th to 28th at London's Truman Brewery, the event is free to attend (though tickets must be reserved) and will offer both complimentary snacks and immersive Monopoly Go experiences. Notably, restaurant critic Grace Dent will headline alongside viral bakery Bread Ahead.

Roll the Dice

You might be wondering: what would convince me to go to an event like this? That's a formal way to ask, but let's get to the point. How about a Double-Down Donut? This pastry creation combines double-chocolate, mango lassi, and chili jam—a mix so wild it feels like something straight out of a Simpsons episode.

Of course, not everyone will get to taste it. You'll need to roll double-sixes on a real-life community chest for a chance to try this unique treat. With appearances by London's Soft Serve Society ice cream parlor and Napoli on the Road pizzeria, it's worth visiting whether you're a seasoned Monopoly player or simply a food enthusiast.
