Monster Hunter Now Tests New Monster Outbreaks Feature
Excitement is brewing in the world of Monster Hunter Now as Niantic introduces a thrilling new feature for testing: Monster Outbreaks. This innovative addition is set to be tested with player feedback to refine it before a full release. If you're a fan of teaming up and tackling challenges, this is your chance to dive in and help shape the future of the game.
When Is the Monster Outbreaks Testing in Monster Hunter Now?
Mark your calendars! The Monster Outbreaks testing phase will take place from April 26th to April 27th. You'll have two opportunities each day to participate, running from 10:00 to 10:59 a.m. and again from 3:00 to 3:59 p.m., based on your local time. This is your window to join the action, so don't miss out!
During the event, specific outbreak points on the map will be teeming with 8-star Black Diablos. The goal? Collaborate with other players in real-time to take down a total of 100 Black Diablos at each outbreak location within that one-hour window. Remember, this is not a global tally but a local challenge at each outbreak spot.
To participate, you must be at least Hunter Rank (HR) 11. Note that you won't be able to use the party feature; only in-person group hunts are valid for this test. Outbreak points are clearly marked with a unique icon on the map. Tap on these icons to view more details and sign up on the roster to coordinate with other hunters.
Black Diablos Is Rolling Up with Serious Boss Energy, in Swarm Mode!
The mechanics of the event are intriguing. If you and three other hunters take down one Black Diablos, it counts as four towards the goal of 100. Should your group reach this target before the hour ends, you can continue hunting Black Diablos until time runs out.
The rewards are enticing as well. If your team successfully slays 100 Black Diablos, each participant will receive 3 Black Diablos Tailcases, 3 Ridges, 3 Primeshells, 3 Marrows, and 2,000 Zenny. Plus, using the sign-up roster adds a chance to earn the exclusive Outbreak Test I Medal.
