A New Monster Joins the Fray

Missed the first Monster Hunter Wilds Open Beta? Fear not! A second beta test is confirmed for the first two weeks of February.

Following the success of the initial beta, producer Ryozo Tsujimoto announced a second phase on the official Monster Hunter YouTube channel. This gives players another chance to experience the game before its February 28th launch.

The beta will run in two sessions: February 6th-9th and February 13th-16th, available on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. This time, hunters will face the Gypceros, a familiar foe from the series, alongside other content not featured in the first beta.

Character data from the first beta carries over and transfers to the full game, though progress won't be saved. As a reward for participation, beta testers receive a Stuffed Felyne Teddy weapon charm and a special bonus item pack to aid their early game adventures in the full release.
