Monster Hunter Wilds Update 1 Launches Early April, Introduces Endgame Hub

by Mila May 18,2025

Capcom has unveiled the first details of Monster Hunter Wilds' initial major update, Title Update 1, set to launch in early April. This patch, coming just over a month after the game's release, aims to give players ample time to gear up for the new content and challenges it brings.

Title Update 1 introduces a new level of difficulty, with Capcom stating, "Prepare your gear, and resolve, hunters! TU1 will bring with it a monster of formidable strength at a level above Tempered!" Additionally, a new challenging monster will be added, ramping up the game's intensity.

In a move that has sparked mixed reactions among the community, Title Update 1 will also introduce a new endgame social area. Capcom describes it as "a new place to meet, communicate, have meals together and more with other hunters." This area will be accessible to players who have completed the main storyline, serving as a gathering spot similar to the Gathering Hubs seen in previous Monster Hunter titles, although Capcom refrains from using that term here. This addition aims to address the game's lack of a dedicated social hub, where players can interact beyond the camp.

Capcom has released several images to showcase this new gathering place, which you can view below:
