A New Hub For Hunters

The showcase kicked off with an exciting look at the new endgame hub, dubbed the Grand Hub, designed for hunting parties. The Grand Hub offers a variety of activities such as feasting together, arm wrestling, and enjoying the Diva's night-time performances. There's also a fun Barrel Bowling mini-game where you can earn vouchers and rewards through various in-game activities.

To unlock the Grand Hub, reach Hunter Rank 16 and speak to Tetsuzan in Suja, the Peaks of Accord.

Mizutsune Arrives

A highlight of Title Update 1 is the introduction of the bubbly monster, Mizutsune. With its swift tail strikes and water jets, Mizutsune promises thrilling encounters. Once you reach HR 21 or above, head to the Scarlet Forest and speak to Kanya to embark on this quest. Successful hunts will reward you with materials for new gear.

Additional Hunts on the Way

New challenges await with the addition of an Event Quest featuring Arch-tempered Rey Dau, a step above traditional Tempered fights. Players at HR 50 and above can take on this formidable foe and earn new armor upon completion. Zoh Shia also makes a return, allowing players to re-fight this monster after reaching HR 50, with the chance to craft new armor.

Arena Quests

Speedrunners will relish the new Arena Quests, which allow hunters to compete for the fastest clear times. Both Challenge Quests and Free Challenge Quests will be available, with pendants awarded for participation and achievement. Access these quests through the counter in the new Grand Hub.

Change Alma's Outfit

The hardworking handler, Alma, is getting a stylish upgrade. Players can now change Alma's attire through an appearance menu at camp, with a free outfit available. Completing a specific side mission will also allow you to swap out Alma's glasses for a fresh look.

More DLC is on the Way

Title Update 1 will be accompanied by a mix of free and paid DLC. Classic gestures from previous Monster Hunter titles will be freely available in the store, while the Cosmetic DLC Pack 1 offers additional options for those with the Cosmetic DLC Pass or Premium Deluxe Edition. Look forward to new stickers, outfits for Alma, and more.

More Event Quests and Seasonal Events

Additional Event Quests and Seasonal Events are planned, with the latter changing the appearance of the Grand Hub and offering unique meals and limited-time equipment, gestures, and decorations. The Festival of Accord: Blossomdance kicks off on April 23, featuring pink cherry blossoms and new decor. Capcom has confirmed that most previous events and Event Quests will return in the future.

The Roadmap Ahead

Here’s the rollout plan for Title Update 1 and related content. U.S. players will see Title Update 1 on April 3, with the Blossomdance event starting on April 22. The challenging Arch-tempered Rey Dau arrives on April 29, and by the end of May, more features and a Capcom collaboration will be introduced.

Monster Hunter Wilds Title Update 2

The showcase concluded with a teaser for Title Update 2, expected this summer. While no specific date was given, a glimpse of the possible return of Lagiacrus, the underwater leviathan, hints at exciting new encounters on the surface.
