Mortal Kombat Mobile Is Celebrating Its 10th Anniversary with New Diamond and Gold Characters

Mortal Kombat Mobile is celebrating its 10th anniversary with a massive update set to launch on March 25th, courtesy of Warner Bros International and NetherRealm Studios. This update introduces new fighters, a revamped Faction Wars, a new challenge tower, and a plethora of anniversary rewards to commemorate a decade of brutal, fast-paced kombat!

Celebrate 10 Years of Brutal, Fast-Paced Kombat!

The spotlight of this anniversary update is the introduction of MK1 Geras as a new diamond-tier fighter. Geras comes equipped with a suite of powerful abilities including power absorption, healing, and damage reflection. To unlock him, players will need to engage in the Realm Klash rewards system or progress through the Kombat Pass.

Additionally, Klassic Skarlet makes her debut as the first gold-tier fighter capable of being fully ascended to Level 5. Her arsenal includes unblockable attacks, a new Gash debuff, and the ability to steal blood droplets from enemies. You can acquire her through the Premium Plus Kombat Pass or the standard Kombat Pass.

Faction Wars has been revamped and rebranded as Realm Klash. Players can now select from five different realms and compete over two-week seasons to earn Realm Points, moving beyond the traditional fight for Blood Rubies.

The 10th Anniversary update also introduces new ranks to Mortal Kombat Mobile: Elder God, God, and Demi God. Blood Ruby Packs now come with new Kameo offers alongside MK1 Geras rewards. The mode has also received a visual overhaul, new banners, leaderboards, and fixes for previously known exploits.

New Challenges Await in the Mortal Kombat Mobile 10th Anniversary

The Tower of Time introduces an extreme challenge, running for two weeks with 50 floors. Players can collect seven new pieces of Tower of Time equipment, with MK1 Smoke and MK1 Geras receiving their own Brutality equipment sets. A Fusion Boost modifier has been added, enhancing the power of the least fused card in your team to ensure balanced gameplay. Alongside the new tower, the Klassic Tower, Dark Queen’s Tower, and Black Dragon Tower are making a comeback.

To celebrate this monumental anniversary, starting April 1st, players will receive a free copy of each character featured in the anniversary promo every day for 10 days. Moreover, three gold-tier fighters—Lizard Jade, Edenian Blood Sindel, and Klassic Smoke—are now eligible for ascension.
