Disney Dreamlight Valley's Storybook Vale expansion introduces a variety of new ingredients, some more elusive than others. Mussels, a type of shellfish, present a particular challenge for some players. This guide will help you locate these often-hidden ingredients.

Mussel Acquisition in Disney Dreamlight Valley

Mussels are found on the ground within the Mythopia biome. Specifically, search these areas:

• The Elysian Fields
• The Fiery Plains
• The Statue's Shadow
• Mount Olympus

While some players report easily finding Mussels in these locations, others find them scarce and inconsistently spawning. One potential hotspot is near trial areas, such as the first trial in the Elysian Fields (Hades' unlock area).

A cluster of Mussels may also appear behind a hidden bush in the Elysian Fields during Hades' "A Moth to a Flame" quest. Unlocking this area may increase Mussel spawns throughout Mythopia.

Mussel Applications in Disney Dreamlight Valley

Unlike some other seafood, Mussels aren't used in crafting. Their primary use is as a cooking ingredient in these recipes:
