"Nintendo Switch 2 to Host Marvel Rivalry?"

The possibility of Marvel Rivals launching on the Nintendo Switch 2, once considered impossible, now seems increasingly likely. While NetEase previously dismissed a release on the original Switch due to technical limitations, the upcoming console could alter that equation entirely.

At the DICE Summit, producer Weikang Wu confirmed active discussions with Nintendo are underway. The primary hurdle remains ensuring consistently smooth performance on the new hardware:

"The first-generation Switch lacked the power for the gameplay experience we envisioned. However, if the Switch 2 can handle it, we're prepared to bring the game to the platform."

Following the official Nintendo Switch 2 announcement, major industry players are expressing strong interest in the platform. Phil Spencer has suggested Xbox's catalog could be coming, and Electronic Arts (EA) has also shown its support.
