Overwatch 2 Teams Up With LE SSERAFIM Again: New Skins, Emotes, and Challenges Await

Get ready, Overwatch 2 fans! The game is set to collaborate once more with the sensational K-pop girl group LE SSERAFIM, promising an exciting blend of gaming and music culture. This collaboration is scheduled to kick off on March 18, 2025, and will run through to March 31, 2025, coinciding with the launch of LE SSERAFIM's latest album, "Hot."

LE SSERAFIM Returns to Overwatch 2 With Fresh Content

Following their successful collaboration in November 2023, which celebrated LE SSERAFIM's song "Perfect Night," this new event promises even more exclusive content. Blizzard Entertainment announced this exciting news during the Overwatch 2 Spotlight on February 12 and further teased the event with a trailer released on Twitter (X) on March 11.

Players can look forward to an array of new skins for popular characters including Mercy, Juno, D.Va, Ashe, and Illari. In addition, recolored versions of skins from the previous collaboration will be available for purchase, featuring LE SSERAFIM-themed designs for Kiriko, D.Va, Sombra, Tracer, and Brigitte.

While the unique Concert Clash mode introduced during the last event won't return, as it was specifically tied to the "Perfect Night" video, players will still have plenty to enjoy. A new set of in-game challenges will allow players to earn the Legendary Fawksey James Junkrat skin, adding an extra layer of excitement to the event.

In an interview with Polygon on March 11, Aimee Denett, Overwatch's Associate Director of Product Management, shared insights into the collaboration. "This time around, we wanted to be part of one of the pieces that’s celebrating their new album," Denett explained. She highlighted the inclusion of a visualizer for one of the new songs from "Hot" and emphasized the extensive range of cosmetics designed for this event as a tribute to K-pop culture.
