Once Human x Palworld Collaboration Arrives October 30

Deviation: Survive, Capture, Preserve

On October 30, 2025, Once Human will launch its special crossover event with Palworld, named "Deviation: Survive, Capture, Preserve." A preview of the event was shared by Once Human in an October 27 post on X (formerly Twitter).

First hinted at during Tokyo Game Show 2025, players wondered how the apocalyptic survival game would blend with the beloved monster-taming universe. It was also confirmed as a one-way collaboration—Palworld content is coming to Once Human, but no Once Human elements will be added to Palworld for now.

Paradise Island, Deviation Battles, and More

This limited-time update brings players to Paradise Island, a zone teeming with Deviations and Pals living alongside humans, known as Metas. Here, adventurers can explore the landscape, interact with creatures, and capture them to fight as allies.

According to the official article, the goal is to capture the most powerful Deviation and rise as the ultimate Securement Master. "As a Securement Expert, your mission is to gather strong Deviations, take on the Deviation League, and earn the title of the land’s greatest Securement Master," the description notes.

Beyond battling in the Deviation League, players must halt the "Call of Chaos," a phenomenon driving Deviations wild. You'll also join forces with your trusted companion Zeno to contain the chaos spreading across the island.

The event incorporates the Symbiosis System, a core progression feature that unlocks portions of the event. Additionally, Deviation battles offer both PvP and PvE modes, letting players face off against each other or NPCs in themed arenas.

Players can even transform into a Pal, gaining new skills to help traverse the island. Featured Pals include Cattiva, Chillet, and Chillet Ignis.

Note that "Deviation: Survive, Capture, Preserve" is a standalone scenario. Progress from other modes does not carry over, ensuring both new and veteran Metas experience the collaboration on equal footing.

Once Human is playable on mobile (iOS, Android) and PC via Steam and Epic Games, with a console release planned for 2026. For our full review of the game, see below!
