Pokémon GO Is Dropping Might and Mastery Event with a Legendary Pokémon at Your Side!

Get ready for some serious martial arts action in Pokémon GO's upcoming Might and Mastery event! Launching March 4th, 2025, and running until June 3rd, 2025, this event packs a punch with a new Pokémon and a legendary debut.

Meet the Might and Mastery Pokémon:

Kubfu, the formidable Fighting-type Pokémon, is joining the fray! During the event, evolve it into one of its powerful Urshifu forms: Single Strike Style or Rapid Strike Style. The event also introduces Dynamax battles, showcasing Pokémon reaching colossal sizes. Prepare for some epic Kubfu showdowns!

The adventure begins with the Might and Mastery Special Research, available from March 5th at 10:00 a.m. to June 3rd at 9:59 a.m. This multi-stage research will unlock throughout the season, so keep checking your research tab.

The Powerful Potential event (March 5th-10th) marks Kubfu's official arrival. Important note: Kubfu cannot be traded, sent to the Professor, or transferred to Pokémon HOME.

From March 8th at 6:00 a.m. to March 9th at 9:00 p.m., prepare for Max Battles! Power Spots will refresh more frequently. One-Star Max Battles feature Dynamax Grookey, Scorbunny, and Sobble. Six-Star Max Battles will challenge you with Gigantamax Venusaur, Charizard, and Blastoise. One-Star Raids include Gothita, Solosis, and Sinistea, while Three-Star Raids feature Alolan Raichu, Hisuian Typhlosion, and Sableye.
