Pokémon TCG Pocket Is Dropping a Trade Feature and Space-Time Smackdown Expansion Soon

Pokémon TCG Pocket is getting a major update! Trading is finally here, alongside the highly anticipated Space-Time Smackdown expansion. Get ready to swap cards with friends!

When Can You Trade and Access Space-Time Smackdown?

Trading arrives on January 29th, 2025, with the Space-Time Smackdown expansion following on January 30th. This update also introduces new binder and display board covers featuring Dialga, Palkia, and Darkrai.

Trading Details:

Trading requires trade hourglasses and trade tokens. Currently, only cards from the Genetic Apex and Mythical Island expansions (rarity levels 1-4 and ★1) are tradeable. More cards will be added in future updates.

Space-Time Smackdown Expansion:

This expansion focuses on the Sinnoh region, introducing two new booster packs featuring Dialga and Palkia, plus fresh card artwork. Lucario, and the Sinnoh starters—Turtwig, Chimchar, and Piplup—also join the roster. For a complete overview, watch the video below:
