Pokemon Go’s first Community Day of 2025 will feature Sprigaito

Get ready for the first Pokémon Go Community Day of 2025! Mark your calendars for January 5th, as Sprigatito takes center stage.

This Grass Cat Pokémon will be appearing much more frequently between 2:00 pm and 5:00 pm local time, bringing with it a host of exciting bonuses.

Catch Sprigatito and evolve it into Floragato, then Meowscarada, during the event (or within five hours afterward) to teach it the powerful Charged Attack, Frenzy Plant. It'll also permanently learn Flower Trick, making it a valuable addition to any team.

Community Day boosts include triple Stardust, double Candy for every catch, and doubled Candy XL odds for Trainers level 31 and above. Lure Modules and Incense will last three hours, trades will cost half the usual Stardust, and you'll get an extra Special Trade.

For an extra challenge, a $2 Special Research will unlock exclusive rewards such as a Premium Battle Pass, Rare Candy XL, and more Sprigatito encounters. A free Timed Research task will continue the fun for a week after Community Day, offering a chance to earn a Sprigatito with a special Dual Destiny-themed background.
