Pokémon GO Unveils New Unova Tour Pass

Get ready for the Pokémon GO Tour: Unova! A new Tour Pass, available from February 24th to March 9th, promises exciting rewards and progression milestones.

This latest addition to the annual Pokémon GO Tour event, focusing on the Unova region (Generation 5), offers a blend of wild Pokémon encounters, raids, and egg hatches themed around Gen 5 Pokémon. Past GO Tours have celebrated Kanto (2021) and Sinnoh (2022), introducing shiny Pokémon and unique variants.

The 2025 Unova Tour Pass, available from February 24th, 10 am to March 2nd, 6 pm local time, comes in free and deluxe versions. Players earn Tour Points by completing daily tasks, catching Pokémon, participating in raids, and hatching eggs. These points unlock rewards, including candy, stickers, and a culminating encounter with a special Zorua. All rewards expire on March 9th at 6 pm.

Pokémon GO Tour Pass Options:

• Free Pass: Provides a selection of rewards attainable through earned Tour Points.
• Deluxe Pass ($14.99): Includes all free pass rewards, plus an encounter with the Mythical Pokémon Victini and a Lucky Trinket. This single-use item guarantees a Lucky Trade with a chosen friend, resetting their Lucky Friend status afterward. A premium version with 10 pre-unlocked ranks is also available for $19.99. Deluxe Pass rewards and the Lucky Trinket also expire on March 9th at 6 pm.

The Unova Tour Pass adds even more anticipation to the event, featuring the debut of Kyurem (Black and White forms) via fusion, mirroring Necrozma's appearance in last year's Sinnoh Tour. Shiny Meloetta will also debut via ticketed Masterwork Research.
