Pokémon GO Fest 2025: Dates, Locations, and More!

Niantic has unveiled the exciting details for Pokémon GO Fest 2025, along with two additional January events. Let's dive into the information!

Pokémon GO Fest 2025: A Global Celebration

The Pokémon GO Fest 2025 will be a three-day extravaganza held in three global cities across different dates in June:

• Osaka, Japan: May 29th - June 1st
• Jersey City, New Jersey, USA: June 6th - June 8th
• Paris, France: June 13th - June 15th

Further event details are promised for March 2025. Remember, event schedules are subject to change, so stay tuned for updates.

This annual event offers exclusive in-game items, gameplay enhancements, and bonuses. In-person attendees will experience unique city-specific features and activities. Tickets are required for both in-person and online participation.

Expect rare Pokémon encounters not found in standard gameplay, increased Shiny Pokémon rates, exclusive merchandise for in-person events, themed sets, community hubs, and team lounges. The experience will closely mirror previous GO Fests.

January Events: Fashion Week and Shadow Raid Day

In addition to the GO Fest announcement, Niantic revealed two exciting January events:

• Fashion Week: Taken Over: January 15th, 12:00 pm - January 19th, 8:00 pm (local time). Rescue Shadow Palkia from Team GO Rocket and Giovanni. Shroodle and Grafaiai debut, hatching from 12 km Eggs. Encounter Shadow Pokémon like Snivy and Tepig. A fashionably dressed Croagunk might appear in snapshots!

• Shadow Raid Day (Ho-Oh): January 19th, 2:00 pm - 5:00 pm (local time). Participate in Five-Star Shadow Raids to capture Shadow Ho-Oh. A $5 USD ticket grants eight Raid Passes, increased Rare Candy XL chances, 2x Stardust, and 50% more XP from Raids. Shiny Ho-Oh has an increased appearance rate, and lucky trainers can teach their captured Ho-Oh the Sacred Fire charged move using a Charged TM.
