The 2025 PUBG Mobile Global Open (PMGO) has kicked off, marking the first international PUBG Mobile Esports event of the year. With over 90,000 registered competitors, the Open Qualifiers, which started on February 13th, offer a golden opportunity for new talent to shine and secure a spot in the PMGO Main Event.

The tournament boasts a hefty $500,000 prize pool, attracting teams eager to prove their mettle through multiple rounds of intense competition. Notably, the PMGO is exclusively open to amateurs, providing a platform for emerging players to showcase their skills on a global stage.

Teams that include at least one player ranked in the Ultimate 500 from Cycle 7 Season 20 or 21 have directly advanced to Round 2 of the Open Qualifiers. Over the coming weeks, these squads, along with others, will vie for a place in the PMGO Prelims, where they will confront the top teams from the Uzbekistan Offline Qualifiers.

ytFrom the Prelims, twelve teams will advance to the PMGO Main Event, set to challenge the elite of PUBG Mobile. Four professional teams—Regnum Carya, Nigma Galaxy, 4Merical Vibes, and Influence Rage—have already earned their spots based on their performances at the PUBG Mobile Global Championship (PMGC) 2024. Additionally, four more teams will join from regional competitions, including the PMSL SEA Spring, PMGO Korea Qualifier, and the Peacekeeper Elite League Spring season.

The Open Qualifiers are scheduled to run until March 2nd, with the Prelims following on April 10th-11th, leading directly into the Main Event on April 12th-13th. This event sets the stage for a packed year in PUBG Mobile Esports, with the PUBG Mobile World Cup and the PMGC slated to return later in 2025.
