"Rainbow Six Siege X: Atlanta Event Highlights Revealed"

Now in its tenth year, Rainbow Six Siege is entering a new era. During today's presentation, Ubisoft unveiled Siege X, which they are positioning as a transformative update akin to CS2 for CS:GO. Set to launch on June 10, Siege X will make the game free-to-play, opening up the tactical shooter to a broader audience.
Key Changes in Siege X:
New Mode: Dual Front – This innovative 6v6 match format blends attack and defense operators into a dynamic gameplay experience. The objective is to capture enemy zones and plant sabotage devices. The map is thoughtfully segmented into multiple areas—three zones per team, plus one expansive neutral zone. Players will respawn 30 seconds after being eliminated, keeping the action intense and continuous.
Advanced Rappel System – Siege X introduces an enhanced rappel system, allowing players to maneuver using ropes both vertically and horizontally, adding a new layer of tactical depth to the gameplay.
Increased Environmental Destruction – The trailer for Siege X highlighted new destructible elements, including fire extinguishers and gas pipes that players can strategically blow up to alter the battlefield dynamics.
Reworks for Five Popular Maps – Five beloved maps are set to receive major updates, refreshing the environments and potentially altering strategies and tactics used by players.
Graphical & Audio Enhancements – Ubisoft is rolling out a significant visual and audio upgrade, aiming to enhance immersion and the overall gaming experience.
Improved Anti-Cheat & Toxicity Measures – The developers are committed to refining the anti-cheat system and addressing toxic behavior within the community, fostering a more positive and competitive environment.
Ubisoft has also announced a closed beta for Siege X, which will be accessible over the next seven days to players who watch Siege streams, providing an early opportunity to experience the new features and provide feedback.
