Re-examining the Birth of the Fantastic Four
Marvel Entertainment: A Giant Built on 60s Innovation
Marvel, a global entertainment powerhouse, boasts a sprawling cinematic universe and countless adaptations across film, television, and video games. But this wasn't always the case. Sixty years ago, Stan Lee, Jack Kirby, and Steve Ditko birthed a revolutionary idea: the interconnected Marvel Universe, weaving together various superhero narratives.

Marvel's fresh approach fundamentally reshaped the comics landscape, impacting the entertainment world we know today. To explore this foundation, I embarked on a personal project: rereading every Marvel superhero comic from the 1960s and beyond.
This article focuses on pivotal early Marvel issues, from the Fantastic Four's 1961 debut to the Avengers' 1963 formation. We'll highlight key character introductions, landmark storylines, and simply remarkable comics. Join us for this exploration of essential Marvel reading!
