The much-anticipated Reverse: 1999 x Assassin’s Creed crossover has unveiled exciting new details, including the introduction of Ezio as a playable character. This collaboration with Ubisoft is set to celebrate two of the most beloved entries in the Assassin's Creed series: Assassin’s Creed II and Odyssey. A teaser released earlier this year showcased Vertin navigating a rain-soaked street, with the iconic Assassin’s Creed logo illuminating the path ahead.

Get Ready to Welcome Ezio from Assassin’s Creed into Reverse: 1999!

The comprehensive plan for this crossover has been revealed, and it's slated to launch across Android, iOS, and PC platforms in August 2025. In addition to featuring Ezio Auditore da Firenze, the collaboration promises a rich array of Assassin’s Creed-themed content.

The event will unfold in two distinct phases, each packed with unique stories and events inspired by the Assassin’s Creed universe. Phase I transports players to Renaissance Florence, where Vertin and her team will navigate the enigmatic streets of 15th-century Italy, following cryptic clues and engaging in thrilling adventures.

Phase II then shifts the scene to ancient Greece, immersing players in the world of Assassin’s Creed Odyssey. If you're familiar with the game, you'll find some of the events and challenges Vertin and her crew encounter strikingly familiar.

It’s a Special Crossover

This collaboration marks a significant milestone for Reverse: 1999, as it will be the first time all servers globally will synchronize, ensuring that players worldwide can access the event content simultaneously.

Reverse: 1999 is a unique time-traveling RPG that blends modern and retro aesthetics. Players assume the role of Vertin, the Timekeeper, who is immune to a mysterious phenomenon known as The Storm. Following these storms, entire eras vanish, prompting Vertin and her partner, Sonetto, to journey through different time periods to rescue arcanists affected by these temporal shifts.
