Reviver: First Butterfly sees the time-based narrative game finally arrive on iOS
Get ready, mobile gamers! The much-anticipated narrative adventure, Reviver, is finally making its debut on iOS and Android. Initially slated for a winter 2024 release, Reviver: Butterfly has just missed that window, with its launch now set for January 17th, 2025. This slight delay means you'll have the opportunity to dive into not one, but two top narrative titles this season, both of which are now available for your enjoyment.
For those of you who have been following our coverage since late October, you'll recall our excitement about Reviver. Now, due to an interesting naming convention, the game will be known as Reviver: Butterfly on iOS and Android, while Reviver: Premium will also be available. Despite the different names, both versions promise to deliver the same captivating experience, where you step into the shoes of a tiny force of nature, delicately influencing the lives of two star-crossed lovers to unite them.
While the concept of "wholesome" may vary from person to person, Reviver offers a unique and intriguing premise. You won't directly meet or see the protagonists, yet you'll play a pivotal role in bringing them together, guiding them through the ups and downs of life from youth to old age.
Butterfly effect - One of the challenges indie games face when transitioning to mobile platforms is the competition for unique names, often overshadowed by apps like ride-sharing services. It's unfortunate that this may have caused Reviver's release to slip under the radar initially, but it's never too late to celebrate its arrival!
According to the iOS page, Reviver offers a free prologue for skeptics to try before they buy. It also teases some fascinating details about the game, and excitingly, you'll have the chance to experience Reviver on mobile before its official release on Steam. Don't miss out on this enchanting journey!
