Roland-Garros eSeries 2025 Features a New eSports Team Format in Tennis Clash
The Roland-Garros eSeries is set to make a thrilling return in 2025, inviting players worldwide to compete on the virtual clay courts of Tennis Clash. This year's tournament introduces an exciting new team-based format, legendary tennis captains, and a €5,000 prize pool that promises intense competition.
Renault and Mastercard continue their sponsorship, bringing exclusive customization options. Players can now don the official Roland-Garros 2025 outfits and utilize the special Renault 5 Roland-Garros string, adding a touch of authenticity to the virtual experience.
When Does It Start?
Mark your calendars—the Roland-Garros eSeries kicks off in March with open qualifiers. The initial battleground for aspiring players to earn their spot in the finals will be from March 6-11, followed by additional qualifying stages from March 20-25 and April 3-8. These qualifiers will determine the elite contenders ready to showcase their skills.
The top female players from the first two qualifiers will secure their place alongside the overall winners. The culmination of the event will take place at the Roland-Garros Tenniseum Auditorium on May 24th, where finalists will compete in front of a live audience. The entire spectacle will also be streamed live on Twitch, ensuring global accessibility.
What’s New This Year?
The Roland-Garros eSeries 2025 introduces a fresh team-based format, shifting from solo play to collaborative efforts. Each team will be led by a major figure in French tennis, with Gilles Simon, former ATP world No. 6 and Davis Cup champion, confirmed as one of the captains. Simon, who has been involved as a commentator since 2023 and competed in the Top 8 in 2024, will guide one squad. The identity of his rival captain, a Grand Slam winner, remains a tantalizing mystery.
Are You Excited for the Roland-Garros eSeries 2025?
Once the teams are set, the competition intensifies. The winning team from the first phase will advance to the winner’s side of the double-elimination bracket, while the losing team will start in the loser’s bracket, adding another layer of excitement and strategy to the tournament.
Defending champion Alessandro ΔLEX Bianco is returning to defend his title, joined by the two Grand Tour finalists. With last year's impressive turnout of 548,000 participants from 215 territories, this year's event is expected to be even more competitive.
In celebration of Women’s Day, Tennis Clash is offering a trip to Paris for the top female and overall players. To get involved, download the game from the Google Play Store and prepare for the Roland-Garros eSeries 2025, where there's plenty of action to dive into.
