RuneScape Reveals Exciting Plans for 2024-2025

Jagex has unveiled an exhilarating roadmap for RuneScape, spanning 2024 and 2025! The recently released "RuneScape Ahead" video details a wealth of upcoming content. Let's explore the highlights.

What's Coming?

First on the agenda: Group Ironman mode. Team up with up to four friends for a collaborative RuneScape experience without external assistance. This highly anticipated feature launches later this year.

Autumn brings "The Gate of Elidinis," a challenging new Skilling Boss encounter within the Sanctum of Rebirth, tied to an upcoming major story quest.

The roadmap promises a flurry of story quests throughout 2024 and 2025. A winter quest revisits classic storylines, leading players back to the desert for a confrontation with Amascut. This culminates in a brand-new end-game boss fight against Amascut, the Devourer.

Over 110 skilling updates are planned. This year features Woodcutting & Fletching updates, including a new skill tree and weapons. RuneCrafting and Crafting level 110 updates are slated for 2025.

Prepare for "Harvest Hollow," a new seasonal event later this year, complete with a fresh quest, spooky rewards, and chilling activities. The festive "Christmas Village" returns at year's end, bringing new quests, seasonal fun, and holiday rewards.

Beyond the Highlights

A significant area expansion is planned for late 2025. The roadmap also includes numerous player-requested features, such as new combat achievements, a fourth Necromancy conjure ability, and a new Slayer Monster.
