SEGA Stars Join Sonic Rumble in Historic Crossover Event!

Sonic Rumble, though not yet globally launched, has already kicked off an exciting crossover event named Crossover Event #0: SEGA Stars. This event is live from now until May 7th, just before the game's worldwide launch on May 8th.

Currently in soft launch, Sonic Rumble is accessible in over 40 countries. It had its first pre-launch in Summer 2024 in regions including the Philippines, Scandinavian countries, and Colombia. The second pre-launch extended to Canada, Turkey, Malaysia, South Africa, and more.

What’s in Store?

If you're in a region where Sonic Rumble soft-launched last year, you can participate in the Sonic Rumble SEGA Stars crossover. Here's what you can expect:

  • Altered Beast: The Werewolf transformation is available for free. Nostalgic fans can also unlock the Werebear and Weredragon, with the Weredragon included in the Premium Pass and the Werebear possibly purchasable with regular rings.

  • Fantasy Zone: Opa-Opa and Upa-Upa join the fray. Opa-Opa is part of the Premium Pass, while Upa-Upa can be obtained through fragments bought with standard rings, at 700 rings each.

  • Super Monkey Ball: AiAi and MeeMee have rolled in. AiAi is available for 729 Red Star Rings.

Earn Exclusive Goodies During the Sonic Rumble SEGA Stars Crossover

During matches, you can collect SEGA logos to earn additional rewards. Although it might seem unusual for the event to be live before the global release, SEGA has assured that most of these pre-release rewards will return later.

This inaugural crossover event showcases a delightful blend of SEGA's past and present, featuring monkeys, sentient arcade ships, and transformed beasts interacting with Sonic and friends, making Sonic Rumble a promising addition to the gaming world.

You can download Sonic Rumble from the Google Play Store or wait for its global release on May 8th in your region.
